hahaha , yes its always the headstock, a friend of mine had one there and i just couldn't feel comfortable playing his guitar because there it was...staring me in the face...

...just a personal thing though. I'm sure its a convenient thing to have.

I usually end up finding the picks I've dropped but it amazes me how far away they can turn up. It's pretty hard to find them when they are on the carpet, mingling with the pattern, though.

I just bought another 12-pack of Dunlop Delrin 2.0 mm's and it hasn't even been 7 months since I last bought a pack

I think it isn't the tooth fairy, but a little Leprechaun who secretly works for Jim Dunlop. He goes around and steals all our picks so that we have to keep buying more. We probably buy back all the unused ones that he steals.

i need the tip of the pick to hear all the notes in 16th's

Exactly Dean, ive been using the same Jazz 3 pick for about 6 months and each side has been grinded down so much I could hardly pick lol. However a new set of 30 arrived yesterday and I can pick again!! Glad it wasnt just my crap picking...
