Some pretty good bands... some shit, as well, but I would still go.

Wow. Some shitty bands, but if I could go there, I'd deal with it because there are plenty of kickass bands too. I wish we had festivals like Hellfest... Or maybe I just don't know about them. Not too interested in looking them up because I don't have a car.

so maybe i will see it.Agreed. They have some fantastic bands on there like Atheist and Cynic, but some 'blah, no thanks' bands like Hatebreed and Korn. So, it's alright for the most part.
I think, though, that the rest of the bands playing certainly outweigh the terrible ones that are going to be there. I couldn't give two shits about Korn, but seeing Blind Guardian, Amon Amarth, Vader, Korpiklaani, etc, among others, would be worth it.
The great thing about festivals, though, is that you don't have to sit through every band that is playing.

all those years Hellfest has been here its been nothing but shit bands. and as soon as they get good bands, they move the motherfucker to goddamn Europe. I guess thats what we get for having a population of 60% female deciding whats popular. (women usually have bad taste in everything)
