First post, 40 years old from Florida, US. I did live in Canada for a few years.
Been into metal since mid-80's, can't remember which video was the first to get me into the scene, but I became a big thrash addict after seeing videos on the Headbanger's Ball.
As I've gotten older my tastes have changed a bit, I still favor 80's era metal ~95% but don't like thrash as much, I prefer NWOBHM, USPM and many obscure underground bands from 80's.
