help an aspiring audio engineer out?

so basically, ive left my final project of uni to the last month, whoops!
im doing a critical analysis of home studio mixing compared to a professional studio environment.
basically it was an excuse to go out and buy a 003+ and some other gear, but now i need to write 5000 on it.

so if you guys got any suggestions, throw em my way, or even better is some references.

I would say the biggest difference now is the acoustic design of the rooms in a professional recording studio compared to a home studio.

to expand on that idea, pro studios are usually built with acoustics in mind, while home studios usually make due with the space available.

+1, as well as the use of lots more outboard gear (although not in all cases, mr sneap being an example of a pro working mostly ITB)
