Hi, I'm trying to put together a compilation of metal instrumental tracks.
Any suggestions?

So far I've got:
From The Curse A Scourge by The Chasm
Secrets Of The Flesh by Enslaved
Wayfaerer by In Flames

Any help greatly appreciated.

Arghoslent - Incorrigible Bigotry
Arghoslent - Incursions
Darkthrone - Accumulation of Generalization
Death - Cosmic Sea
The Chasm - Deathcult Arrival
Sepultura - Inquisition Symphony
most songs by Windham Hell

Do the instrumentals themselves have to be aesthetically "metal" or can they just be instrumentals of any genre by metal bands (i.e. acoustic, etc.)?

Some "metal" instrumentals:

Mithras - The Sands Of Time
The Chasm - Procession To The Infraworld (actually...all of their longer instrumentals)
I second Arghoslent - Incorrigible Bigotry

I second that question. I'll give you more when it's answered.

Procession of the Infraworld and Deathcult Arrival are probably The Chasm's best two instrumentals. I second Incorrigible Bigotry and Arsenal of Glory by Arghoslent.

Cynic - Textures
Iron Maiden - Transylvania
Iron Maiden - Genghis Khan
Sepultura - Inquisition Symphony.....had to second this one

and everything by the chasm and arghoslent that were already mentioned

Mercyful Fate-Room Of Golden Air
In Flames-Dialogue With the Stars
Brutality-Violent Generation,Awakening,Esoteric,Spirit World,Sympathy
Gorguts-Testimonial Ruin,Waste of Mortality
Metallica-Orion,To Live Is To Die,The Call Of Ktulu.
Cynic-Textures
King Diamond-Cremation
Monstrosity-The Fall of Eden
Annihilator - Schizos (Are Never Alone)
Testament-Urotsukidoji
James Murphy-Convergence
Cannibal Corpse-From Skin To Liquid
Martyr-Realms of Reveria

Metallica-Orion,To Live Is To Die,The Call Of Ktulu.
Gorguts-Testimonial Ruin
death - cosmic sea, voice of the soul
Cynic-Textures
gordian knot - muttersprache (everything by gordian knot actually actually)
enslaved - norvegr

lots of other stuff

Pagan's Mind - The Magic of Childhood (Both parts)
In Flames - Man Made God (Even better than Wayfaerer)
Steve Vai- Midway Creatures
Ayreon - Chaos

I second Man Mad God from In Flames. Awesome intrumental.

In Flames - The Jester's Dance
Iced Earth - Solitude
Ulver - most of the songs from the album Kveldssanger which are acoustic
Racer X - Frenzy
Blind Guardian - Beyond the Ice
In Flames - Acoustic Melody

First of all, Thanks everyone for the great response.

And to answer your question - Yes, they can be instrumentals of any genre by metal bands. The more variety the better. I like lots of different types of metal and would hate being bound strictly to one.

Burzum - The Crying Orc
Burzum - Naar Himmelen Klarner
Gorguts - Sweet Silence
Agalloch - The Lodge
Virus - Hustler
maudlin of the Well - Interludes 1, 2, 3, and 4
Drudkh - The First Snow
Ildjarn - Svart Dag (The Nothingness)
any Gordian Knot
