Sounds like it's been recorded with latency settings too low. That's all I can think of by the information you provided. You need to record it again, I don't think it'll sound good if you'll just cut it off the clip

i think it might have been

unfortunately cant be rerecorded so need to repair it somehow or minimize the issue as much as poss

any other ideas?

What software are you using?

My first thought would be to cut out the glitchy part and stretch/crossfade the remaining audio together in the most natural way possible.

I know how to get rid of it, but since the problem wasn't originally what I thought it was, I'm not going to share the solution...
