help me improve my mix pls!

I feal the balance is ok, but my mix seems to lack a bit of depth and punch

any idea how i could improve this?

drums are metal machine,
guitar is carvin DC800 into axe-fx 2
basse is downpitched guitar into axe-fx 2 (yeah that's a bit bad, but i think i get an ok result!)
synths are many vsti...

Song is cool man. I would suggest a tiny bit less gain on the rhythm guitars to clean them up nice. Maybe throw a highpass filter on them around 100-150hz depending how good your bass tone is. Also high pass your synths. It's up to you were to set it but this will clear up alot of mud also. Sounds good, keep it up!

synths are already high pass (depending on part from 125 up to 350 on some...)

guitar is high passed at 85 for now...

bass at 65...

kick at 50

I feal like i wanna add some reverb to add "depth" and " room like feal" but i dont know where and how...

drum as already quite a bit, guitar and the rest has a touch of verb...

any ideas are welcomed!

Great material brother! Turn down the gain on the guitars a bit

Guitars have too much mud, carve some out at 100-200hz with EQ or then multiband compress it.
And a real bass or atleast a good bass VSTi would help alot on the low end as the guitar fills it up quite a bit now.

And yes, the mix lacks in depth and punch. Just experiment with what you've been told!

i'll try to remove some muds in the guitar without killing it (not easy since its an 8 stringers, and i play with no pic...)
