I agree with all of these less Amott because I have never heard him and Kerry King because I don't like his solos. He is a brilliant rythm guitarist though. I will add...

Wolff Hoffmann - former Accept guitarist
Jorn Viggo Lofstat - Pagans Mind
Yngwie - too repetitive, but still a God.
Vito Bratta - formerely White Lion. The best "hair" guitarist ever.
Donald "Buck" Dharma - Blue Oyster Cult

oh, but dont you like his solos?

George Lynch is cool! he have many Signatures too...ESP guitars with his own Seymour Duncan - Screamin' Demon, his own Randall Lynch Mob head and cab. Dean Markley string + Eminence speakers i think. I think his style is much cooler than Yngwie, Satriani, Steve Vai etc. there are so many :p

But Dan Swanö is still the master riffmaker.

Alexi Laiho And Roope Latvala...mmmm...those dudes really know how to play!!:)
Yngwie is "godly" yes but he might need to change the scale someday!:p

You're saying Yngwie may need to change scale someday, yet the only scale you ever hear in Children of Bodom songs is E Minor (yes I know it's D Minor because they downtune), which is even easier to play than A Minor/A Harmonic minor and other variations like his obsession with Phrygian.

Yngwie shits all over Alexi and Roope, I find it humourous you even said that.

yes..that didnt come out right from me.
I ment that If you listen to one album of yngwie and afterwards you try to think and remember something that really poped out and cought your attention....well...as to me anyways...there is nothing much left in my mind from it.
I do like yngwie and his grazy solos but there is nothing in his "godly solos" that really pops up in my mind when I'm shopping food at the market....but Cob has. this is more a taste thing maby..dunno...but all yngwie does is play some thing nice rythms and then tiluliluliluliliuiioo....litluliiutitiutl....sounds cool but its kinda empty.
*wonder did that come out right* again this might be more like a taste thing...some like some and some like non..:p
