That competition sure doesn't make any sense. What the hell do they gain from throwing a competition such as this? Why is no one really interested in voting? So I truly hope it's really all how it looks like, for your sake dude.

You see in Ireland every thing is very localised. Merlin Motors (the company whom is offering the prize) is one of ireland's largest 2nd hand car dealers along with winfield motors. Most of the country is aware of the companies existance and they have been around for as long as i can remember. The reason we are aware is because we have such a small population and everything is built within itself.

The other thing is that Gumtree is the equivelent of that American site in ireland. i cant remember its name, you know the site - I just dont remember the name - You can sell anything there for free.

Anyway the idea behind Merlins give away IMHO is they are trying to get you to spend over 8000 quid. You see Ireland's largest car dealer E.P. Mooney went bust a few weeks ago due to the recession so every car company is suddenly struggeling to get money no matter what. A competition like this according to Merlin is a huge advertisment showing Merlins good will ability to thrive in such a shitty economic climate... i think

Anyway Gumtree is very legit and so is Merlin Motors - Merlin has been around so long and they have an excellent name in Ireland so i have faith in this! :)

no no not ebay - its another site - ah christ its pissing me off now what its called - there were adverts for prostitutes and stuff on the site too - this is really pissing me off! whats it fucking called!

craigslist never really kicked off in ireland. gumtree is our equivalent to craigslist
