Nevermind I figured it out, sorry for the useless thread. For anyone who's wondering you have to install MIDI yoke or something similar and not go through the default MIDI channels in REAPER. From there you just make a track for MIDI, and a track for Trigger. Then make the MIDI track output to a MIDI yoke channel and the Trigger track input the same thing. From there you just choose the note and channel in Trigger's settings.
