Ok so at college I've been assigned a band to work with and we have worked on this song from its demo stages uptill now(album version)

demo version with pod guitars and midi drums can be heard here

I had 1 day to record drums(my first time ever) in our amazing, large studio and I took the guitar and bass d.i's and did my first session of reamping ever. (had problems with the 5150 that day aswell which was not a big help :loco: )

I started mixing the kit and the snare was disgusting(real cheap pearl thing) so it was replaced with slate snare 22.
kick has also been replaced

Have a listen and help a man out with any criticism

Solo Isn't in this clip and the vocals are yet to be finished but let me know your thoughts.

Im looking for as much help as possible.

Cheers Joel

Dude, the guitars are clipping! Try bringing them down like a million db for starters. Pretty nice drum sound, but the whole mix is pumping a bit, so less masterbus compression. And replace that kick dude, drumagog on auto-align and dynamic tracking off!

Guitars could still stand to go down a bit. The drums (overheads especially) sound like they could use a bit more compression and volume to bring them to the front of the mix. That 808 is a bit too loud too, it breaks the mix at its peak.
