Help on my guitar tone

Hey guys, first i would like to say thank you for taking your time to help others and myself. From reading so many threads i have learned a great deal in recording and i couldn't have done it without you.

this is my current project, it is just a part of the intro.
my current chain is the following: Godin redline 1 > EH-Metal Muff pedal > non-sim MG100hdfx head (signal is going out of emulated line-out) > Tascam US-122L > cubase > TSS > KeFIR v1 2ch (using guitarhack impulse JJ powertube full set straight, Centre-Half > cubase dynamic compressor.

tell me what you think, if its possible to ignore the rest of the instruments and just focus on the guitar it would be appreciated.

Why are you using TSS after the muff pedal and amp?
How does it sound without the TSS?

without TSS, i find it more bassy (maybe the term is muddy, but i am still trying to figure out what muddy means )

Seems to be louder in the left speaker. Also sounds a little sloppy.
