Hi i have been recording for abit and i'm new to this site, i dont really know what to do ha ha so be kind please!

Here is a new mix i'm working on, just an idea at the moment, just wondering what people think and how i could improve on mixing/mastering etc. (dont ask about the star wars sample. we're all massive nerds in my band.)

using joey sturgis truth gold kit for drums, podfarm for guitars and bass and logic's own for strings and choirs (i know i really need to get eastwest)

thanks loads guys ! here's the link

sounds pretty good dude. the bass cab has resonance issues, the guitar at :45 sounds like it has no cab, and the mix could stand less compression imo.

it's weird that the cab is modeled, because it sounds to me like the room mode of the room you recorded the bass in is the same frequency as the subtonic of the key of the tune, which is... F. try surgically cutting the bass at like... 42Hz? don't know exactly. might help. keep in mind this is the impression of a novice.
