Help with le guitars (Epic heavy/ symphonic powermetal)

Hey guys, this is just a small clip from an album I've just started working on. The guitars are Engl Invader and currently everything is bare bones as there'll be like 100 tracks of keys/ choir/ bras yada yada. But I'm wondering if this tone is working at all for this so far. I felt like I reamped it bad and might redo it, but what do you guys think?

I like the tone on this clip as it stands. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a typical power metal sort of sound, maybe more modern, but it's pretty fat and tasty, not too harsh.
My only concern would be how much room will be left in the mix for your keys and symphonic elements. I'd try adding those first before you make any decisions.

Cheer dude! That's exactly my thoughts. Of course without having them yet I can't make that call, so when I get to drop those in, imagine lots of cuts as shaping but thanks a lot! I was merely concerned the tone itself was fairly crap!

Agreed, sounds pretty nice as it is. Keen to hear it with the rest of the elements in the mix.
