My band rehearses at my drummer's house. He has an average power windows computer running Windows 7. We want to do some basic recording using this computer instead of bringing all my gear from my place. What would be a good interface? I would buy another Digi 001 for dirt cheap but I hear it is trouble with Windows 7.
Ideally Id like to get something with an 8 channel ADAT in optical in. Or at least something that has 8 inputs. I do not need to do heavy processing this would be for tracking only. Recommendations? Is there anything under $200? I do not mind ebaying.
