help!

Is Dark Symphonies still selling all 3 for $25 or whatever it was? I would just go with that cuz you should start with Bath and Leaving Your Body Map both cuz really they are one album, two discs.

you shouldn't get it at eBay, because then the band gets gypped out of sales.
you know, i'd agree with this if any of the releases i was on ever made the band any royalties THAT THE BAND ACTUALLY SAW. on paper, i think some were made, but in reality, I am not sure the band ever saw more than a check for like $16. so i was always of the opinion that people should get them as cheaply as possible since i personally never saw a dime.
yeah, it kind of bugged me to see other people selling cardboard promos of a record i was on for like $5-6 when they were given out free, but there's really not much i could do to stop that.

although when i buy a new record, i make a point of it to buy it directly from the artist if at all possible. if not that, then i try from the label that put it out. if not that, then i scour ebay and used bins. but i CERTAINLY NEVER download music. no way.

and yeah, i just checked Darksymphonies.com and they do still have the 3 discs for $25. and i'm sure they might work out shipping to europe for you; it even says "AIR MAIL COST FOR OVERSEAS IS $4.00 FOR 1ST ITEM, $2.00 EACH ADDITIONAL" although not sure if they'd consider the 3-disc pkg one item or not.

i should buy one of these as my Bath disc is sort of scratched.

I know who Devin Townsend is. There's a pic of him drooling on me and touching my ass on this laptop. :(

This may be true, but what the sales do earn is important. For example, the more "units" a band sells, the higher regard they're held in by the label which will then likely give them a bigger budget for their next record.

In this case, that particular point isn't of issue because we aren't on DS anymore - however, the royalties of all future sales for a while have to be applied to a huge sum of money they charged us to get off their label. So yeah, the royalties/sales points are very important.
