Unfortunatly, i gotta record and use internet on the same computer??
I use AVG free but i have a virus now and it wont pik it up.. I dont download anything and i dont know how i got it!!!

I need to know a good virus protection that will really clean out my computer

I dont wanna dump it if i dont have to???

1st. if you have a virus, that's no reason to dump the computer. Just format the C drive if it has to come to that

2nd. how do you know you have a virus?

3rd. Get a firewall, zone alarm is free and works fine

4th. If you've got the money, buy AVG full, it has a firewall built in as well as all sorts of other stuff

Google the virus name, like, usually they have names like 049875sdfhg34pr897osudp9238429384yklhkshdofm, so google that, you'll find a forum where people have the same thing and 99% of the time you'll find the cure in the 1st google page.

I bought McAfee for around 50$ and my mind is at ease.

And while you're doing a project that you cannot lose anything I would advice to not download the porn, simply stream it on a reliable website.

You dont have to download anything to get a virus on windows, but there is a nice and quick solution:

probably your best bet! if you cant restore, than you will need to reformat

If you want a more stable os for recording, I would suggest partitioning your hd, and installing windows on both partitions, and dedicating one to recording, the other to furious masturbation, surfing the net, furious masturbation, all your media, and furious masturbation.

Im a total n00b when it comes to p.c, but I know its easy to do this with a mac, so I assume you could do it with a p.c as well.
