Well they are a certain genre of horror flicks that is for sure, practically where most original gore films originated from, from such directors such as Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento, Umberto Lenzi, and Ruggero Deodato just to name a few...

Look up their names on www.imdb.com to get an idea of films they have done...
