me and jeff already agreed the toms sound like a childs drumkit but i have made you guys clear on this 100 times over i CANNOT mix toms ahah

A lot of "hissy" stuff in the guitars for my taste, but it definitely sounds good so far!! Killer song too.

i know what you mean, i think the toms in comparison are too loud now i listen back,

Infos on the snare and kick would be awesome!
I really like them and they always turn out to be the weakest parts in my mixes, because they sound like (/are) 100% slate.
And I somehow like how the high-end of your guitars sound. It would fit very good in the mix i am currently working on. So some infos on them would be nice, too!

snare 12 a with room samples

compressed with waves ssl channel

slight bit of transient designer, and Slate VCC

I never understood how to use roomsamples. When i tried that it turned out very weird, but I probably did something wrong. Would be nice if you could explain how you use them, and which you have used!

Cut at 500 lowpass at 8k highpass at 100 taken some 200 hz mud out.

i would take that presence down to like 80, but the rest sounds pretty killer to me!

well the snare is not centered. idk whats going on there but its definitely driving me nuts. guitars are about 1.25 db too loud. plus youve got no room for vocals.

but other than that youve carved a decent mix with eq. one other thing is the toms are over compressed, youve got good settings, just raise the threshold a couple db. same with the snare, the tail/body is too compressed. if youre looking for that pop than try a transient designer. at times i cant really tell what the kick is doing. i like your lead guitar tone. (pssst pan your overheads at 50 - 60 L & R and toms around 60 - 70 L & R )
