Hey guys - haven't been here in a while and just wanted to say hello. I was kind of a sackass the last time I made an appearance - apologies for that. I was sitting in an airport in an extremely bad mood. Anyways, would love to know how everyone is doing - any new jobs, life changes?
For me, after many years of fruitless endeavors I've gotten a lending / fintech startup off the ground - we closed a seed funding round in December and are progressing really well. I've also gotten back into metal a lot more lately - rediscovering my favs like Rotting Christ (Sakis Tolis has a side project that seems really promising) as well as bands that are new to me, like Spiritbox, Vola, Erra, Born of Osiris, etc. The prog/metal core scene seems really strong right now. Would love to hear any recs - you guys are far more plugged in than I am.
Anyways, I'm glad that this forum still exists. Hard to believe I've had account since 2004 - and that many of the people I remember are still here.
