I'm heading over to Prague for a week 2morrow and i wonder if u could recommend any good bars. eating places etc? a good rock club would be very nice.

Wow! There are too many to mention...good rock clubs? Probably Kain, Pancor or Hells Bells, all of them in the centre...if you get online, wanna get together for a beer?

Johnnie, yeah a beer would be good. Im really looking forward to the holiday i've read up on prague and it looks fantastic! I should have timed the holiday better though and waited till anthrax were playing! I leave tonight so i'll find an internet cafe and drop u a line!

Johnie sorry i didn't mail you when i was in Prague basically i was there three days and me and my girl had to fly home because her dad was pretty sick. I'm pretty pissed off because i was having a great time. I actually saw hells bells. i was in the record shop next door last wednesday. Anyways we are going to try and get back soon so maybe we can hook up fr a beer then.

Yeah her dads fine he had a heart attack and it kinda freaked her out so we flew home.
What i seen of Prague was fantastic, we stayed at the hotel berlin which was a part of the Staropramen brewery. Living amongst the beer rocks! I couldn't believe how cheap the beer was. I went to a bar right on the river just next to Charles Bridge we were there for hours and it cost us about $10. Losts of metal heads walking about as well, and no Korn or Limp Bizkit hoddies so that was really cool... Where are anthrax playing in the city?

They´re actually not playing in Prague, but at one of the many summer festivals. This one is called Benatská noc (Venetian Night) July 30 - August 1. Anthrax are headliners on July 30. The festival is located in the north of Czech Republic.

Well in the 50´s there used to be the biggest sculpture of Stalin in the whole world. After Stalin was proclaimed "not good" by the latter comunists in the USSR (Nikita Khrushchev namely) Czech communists blew up the sculpture (in 1961 i think). Untill 1989 there was just empty space. Then they installed the metronome which just ticks and ticks and ticks.... Actually I don´t know the exact purpose of this thing. Looks interesting though.
