So today I am venturing to the states.
First Hawaii(honolulu, maui) then the places in title.

Very keen to know of any GOOD musical instrument stores/Used musical instrument stores/recording gear stores/used

If anyone could tell me some cool places to hit up it would be very very appreciated.

Well, in Montreal there's the Steve's Music Store and Italmélodie who are not bad, for new stuff. There are pawn shops in many places for 2nd hand instruments. I like www.kijiji.com. But I bought a midi controller last week, m-audio blue Oxygen 49, at Steve it was 148$ and at Italmelodie I know someone who went there and it was like 30$ more expensive. 30$ is not a lot but on a 150$ item, it's something. But the dude told the Italmelodie "hey at Steve's it's 150$" and he finally got it at that price.
