I want to thank JD for sent me almost the complete third Vintersorg album "Cosmic Genesis". I have to admit that the songs you sent me are flawless, is very good music. Folk/prog stuff, with very nice melodic clean vocals, now I guess there's a catch. I have 'A Dialogue With The Stars' from the same album and that one have also the annoying (for me) schreeching vocals typical of BM.

So I want to know if the remaining songs you didn't sent me have the same vocal type. I acknowledge the fact that those vocal chords are few in the song comaped to the clean ones, and that the song itself is very well executed, melodic, smooth and enjoyable.

Now that I heard the stuff I'll probably put "Cosmic Genesis" in my wish list, will the other albums (either the ones in Swedish or the ones in English) be as nice as this one?
Also I want to know if his other projects Otyg and Borknagar are in this vein or more into the BM side.

Thanks bro, and thanks again for let me get into a new band in this day and age when so much uncertainty weighs on the buyer of CDs

JD talked me into d/l'ing Vintersorg from him on Soulseek and I'm glad he did! Only had time for a couple listens but I'm very much digging "Cosmic Genesis". Thanks JD!

There are 3 tracks still up there that I forgot to put the Song titles in the subject line they are there hahaha I thought I sent em all hahaha I am going to Send you "The Focusing Blur" to its Better! :) Anyways With Vinter sorg the Farther you go back his Music gets a Lil doomier and his Voice is Deeper with his Grim Vocals sounding Exzactly the same ... As for OTYG(I'm not sure what that name Means) They are Not BM at all straight up folk metal there with NO I repete NO Grim Vocals they are all clean but are all in Swedish which is fine cause the Music is wonderful! Borknagar on the other Hand is slightly Similar to his Vinter albums but only because he is on Vox, But Borknagar IS Black Metal Good Black Metal but still BM The 2 records he does with them are "Empirism" and the Brand New "Epic" Bith are very good :) Tho I will admit I dont think yuo will get into them ..... Vintersorg also had another Project with the guy who plays guitar for Naglfar Called Havayoth which is COMPLETELY different than any of his other works its VERY mellow so Mellow that it is Barely even Metal hahaha Be sure to Grab the rest of the CG tracks there is no Subject line on em but they are there .... Your Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check it out .. Vintersorg is an amazing Artist that even people that are not Fans of BM can get into ... That and it is just Damned original sounding hehehehe His Whole Cataloge is worth Buying hahaha I'm still workin on it myself :)
