Hey Sprucey

Please recommend some songs to download so I can check them out too. Short-ish ones if possible.

:worship:

What took ya so long?

And what finally did it for ya? Any particular album. They are an acquired taste I agree but once you 'Get' them.... they are fuckin brilliant. Daniel Gildenlow is such a special talent. One of the greatest voices ever not to mention his guitar work and his general song writing ability

Winny. Try these ones:

Heavier Tracks:
A Trace of Blood
Used

Softer Tracks:
This Heart of Mine
Undertow
Iter Impius

More Industrial Type Tracks:
Ashes

More Proggy Type Tracks
People Passing By (One of my favorites)
King of Loss :headbang:

Oh... And Dryad of the Wood is a sweet ass instrumental.

But it is hard to get into individual songs I reckon... You need to get the full album to have the full impact. Go with Remedy Lane of The Perfect Element. Always available on Amazon

Sprucey, it was while I was listening to The Perfect Elephant at work yesterday when I thought, "Hang about, this stuff rule!". Then I listened to Remedy Lane, which was pretty good (and quite King For A Day-era Faith No More-ish in places, which I had listened to earlier in the day), and 12-5, which was tops as well. Then I listened to Be today for the first time, even though I bought the album ages ago, and it was quite good... but MUCH different to the other stuff.

Still gots ta get Entropy and whatever other albums there are. Shall do that this year some time.
