Ok, don't laugh. Like I said, I like a lot of different bands. Here are some: Warrant, Poison, Motley Crue, Type O, Life of Agony, Fear Factory, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Danzig, White Zombie, Iron Maiden and, of course, Anthrax. There are some bands that I like only a few songs or only one album like Helloween, Death Angel, AFI, Staind.
In my own experience, the only time I have ever actually worried at a concert was seeing Pantera. I saw them three times. Once at a small club - I was near the front, I believe the first riff played and I was at the back of the floor, turned around and completely confused. That was pretty funny. I saw them at Oz Fest at Giant Stadium. The crowd went crazy. The were running from the second tier, jumping down on to the field. It was actually scary. But the worst was when I saw them with, I believe, White Zombie. That was another arena concert. Same thing - Pantera went on and people were jumping from the second tier to the floor and someone actually died at that show. Not cool. We never found out if he was trying to jump over and fell or was just standing there and when everyone rushed down the stairs, he got caught up in it and was accidentally knocked over. He fell and hit his head and that was it.
I do have a story to share. I don't like Overkill NOT because of their music because to be hones, I don't think I've ever heard a full album. In '89 or '90, so we are going back 15 or 16 years now, they came here to do a signing. I'll never forget the day. Still have pictures of some of my friends on line. I wasn't on line to see them though because I didn't like or dislike them, just had no interest. So after they leave, next day, whatever, I go into the record store and find out that on a Warrant poster (mind you Warrant was the band to die for back then) they circled four of the guys and wrote D I C K over their heads. As I type this story, I laugh. So stupid. I am super stubborn sometimes. Maybe I should give them a second chance. 16 years is a long time to hold a grudge against a band. Ok, I talked myself into it. I'm going to buy something this weekend.
Sorry I write such long posts. Its a sickness I think. The need to be very thorough.

P.S. On the subject of music but not band related, anyone ever see Stephen Lynch the comedian?
