Hihat "chick" delay

Hey guys, I was programming some drums using the dreaming heavy cymbal pack and found the hi hat "chick" is late when programmed on the grid and I was just wondering if this was done intentionally in order to give a more relaxed feel? Curious about this

I've noticed this too actually.

joey did it purposely. He wanted to preserve the noise of the hats on their way to chicking. just move them back in 1/64 increments until you hear them on time.
