no doubt about that, the vast majority of german troops were fighting in the east. Germany had the best army in the world when the war started.

w/o france and britain... we wouldn't have gotten any where because they took on the german troops on other fronts that enabled us to get as far as we did.

If you like WWII, watch the miniseries Band of Brothers. Excellent story, I'm sure the book is even better.

yeah the book is very good, the series was fantastic, the makers of it are making a new series at the moment based on the pacific i believe.

I bought Call of Duty 2 for my b/f for christmas... is it any good? Better than battlefield?

Call of Duty 2 is brilliant, probably one of the best WWII games ever. Can't really compare it to Battlefield though as they are very different. But yeah CoD2 is great.
