Holy Shit! Katatonia US tour!!!!

katatonia should not tour with tool. wed be subjected to seeing them play from a hundred yards away with ungrateful tool fans being rude all around us

i hope this show isnt a one time thing. i need to see them again

They would gain a lot more fans that way.

Last year Katatonia was on stage just before Deftones at a festival in Turkey and though I like Deftones I hated the fans of them cos most of them were just asses jumping around, pushing the cameramen and being rude.I doubt that they understand Deftones' music.(and no Deftones is not that complex)This year in September I'm gonna see Tool for the first time and I hope that I won't be facing all the smart asses again.I doubt that cos in Turkey Tool and Deftones fans happen to be the same people somehow:ill:

Tool and Deftones come from the nu metal era...by any chance ,does the song"passenger" tells you something huh?:)

One of my fave Deftones songs actually. But the thing is although they come from the same era they have almost NOTHING in common.Music and lyrics can not even be compared for the two bands.Deftones' last album is a bit experimental and maybe this is similar for the two bands but nothing more.I prefer to call Tool prog. rock cos I think they got only a few things in common with the nu-metal era in last two albums.

Tool has never been nu metal. They're simply prog rock. But yeah I agree, and passanger ftw. Have you heard their cover chauffeur? It's so goood.

lets fire up for the Kats folks!!!!!
this is HUGE for them and for us as well......of course nothing is confirmed yet....but I rolled some bones and they said things are going to be good....:heh:

YES, we need to make this tour a HUGE success for our boys in Katatonia!
I've already made some kick ass tour flyers to help spread the word over the internet/myspace. I'll post them here once certain things are confirmed

I feel it is our duty as KATATONIA fans to spread the word about this tour to our full extent.

I'm bringing out the big guns to promote this tour :)

When they come to the UK it's going to be crazy.

Crazy in the sense that there will be a long haired American woman raving about how great Katatonia is to everybody she meets.

Ah... the same as always :/ I so wish they'd come to South America... perhaps someday they would, who knows. I don't lose hope.

And, Reece, be sure to take some cool pics again like you did last time :)

i second that, sistah.. even though sometimes i think its in vain, i do never lose my hope on that.... and i do even have dreams on a Katatonia concert in São Paulo or so.. i'm sure i would do pretty mutch Reece did there in US... I would easily ' tour ' with the band .. catching as mutch shows as possible..
