Holy shit "Salvation" !!!!

The new Cult of Luna album is AMAZING! I don't think I can put it above "Panopticon".... but its very close! Anyone else get this yet?? I just got it yesterday and Ive been rockin out to it non-stop.

Got it since its release , this album is simply amazing and it's without a doubt a mandatory purchase .

I agree. I like their other two albums but it was usually 3 or 4 songs i reallllyy liked and then the rest never really did anything for me. With this album I enjoy every song... i can't pick a favorite really

personally i think that cult of luna wank all over isis from a great height, i think isis are vastly overrated, despite being very good.. 'salvation' is a work of pure art.. love this band.

I haven't listened to Salvation all the way through yet, but Leave me here is good, and Waiting For You is freakin amazing.

It's pretty nice. Vocally took some time to get used to but now I really enjoy it as a whole.

Although I think I prefer The Beyond to Salvation, all of Cult of Luna's stuff is simply fantastic. Great band.

Id never put them over ISIS, but this album has been owning my life lately.

Different approach , both awesome.

Isis appeal to me more generally but it depends. I reckon Panopticon is the better album overall.

I like the new Cult of Luna, but in my opinion, it doesn't compare to the sheer brilliant displayed in Panopticon.

And still, both bands look pale in comparisson to the monster that is Neurosis.

I prefer Cult of Luna over the other two oft. compared bands, but it's a close match between all. Neurosis are more often the heaviest and most droning of the three, while ISIS are usually the most melodic, Cult of Luna I think is the middle ground that transcends either.
