So do you have a Michael Schenker Dean V hiding in the closet?
I wouldn't mind having one of the USA models...they're like $2500...absolutely ridiculous. I'd have to make an exception there...I never would have picked up the guitar if it wasn't for hearing him with UFO.
I'm not a Dean fan at all though...who wants a guitar you can't play sitting down, anyway.
I had an original 1981 white Dean V...bought it for 100 bucks....did some minor work to it and sold it for $1000 on eBay.

I cleaned it, fixed the toggle switch, set it up, soaked some of the hardware in ketchup to remove the oxidation and that's about it...nice investment. The case alone was worth 100 bucks.

Nah...that's his thing....he can keep it. I'm really only a fan of his work with UFO...not crazy about MSG...the first 3 albums maybe, but everything after that is complete crap.
We all remember this beauty.

I read a recent article about his drinking stemming from the crap he was going through with his ex. Bad stuff. But he appears to be over it now...

I saw him in '83 or '84 at the Ritz in NYC...no bass player...he had just quit. In the last 2 years, I've had tickets to see him twice, and twice he canceled. My love affair is well over.
