Sounds good, although it would be damn near perfect if it was Srapping Young Lad. I saw all three bands at seperate dates last year and they were all totally amazing, on the same bill it's going ot be brutal.

Raleigh is not scary at all, but rather boring. we have maybe 1 tall building. it's been 6 years since we've gotten a decent tour, so finally i dont have to drive 4hrs to a gig. but it does seem so far that Opeth is trying to avoid the cities they just played a few months ago.

now there's 4 big tours in February, but i will skip Hypocrisy and In Flames if necessary to see more DT and DTB!!! i certainly hope they pull off a few off-dates!

Yeah, ican't actually believe Opeth is back - they just had a tour with Nevermore here, in December (???)

And that's "scary" as in "boring" and "2+ hour drive", not scary as in "Camden"

I don't hate Opeth But their gig sucked big time, so i don't want to see them live again. And i'm sick of their music at the moment anyway, because i listened to them way too much a few years ago.

@HD: I sort of understand that... Opeth were musically incredible, but their show lacked energy. It felt like being at a classical concert or something, where you just want to watch. Still ace though.

i really cannot understand why everyone seems to care that opeth don't move around too much. anyway, just watch mendez do his little bass dance and hair swinging, be stoned if you're into that, and dig the music. they do it PERFECTLY. personally, i am mezmerized watching opeth. anyway, you will get enough front man action for all 3 bands from mr. stanne. and depending on devin's mood... could be anything.

I don't hate Opeth either, and i find them quite amazing as a live band. They're the 2nd best live band i've seen on stage. But DT deserve to be headliners, it would make for a much much better show.

I dont see the connection you've made between long hair and not wanting to associate with fanboys...

It actually does happen that if you visit a band you loves forum and it's filled with absolute arseholes who think they're the be all and end all, and they are teh uber elite and all that shite, it can be really off putting. Then again, Im not letting Opeth fanboy turds put me off the band, I'm just trying not to associate with the c**ts.
