I've been scanning the web for a new soundcard for the bands studio and I came actross a Digi001 system and an alesis Ai3 A/D converter.
The price is pretty decent and I've heard tons of good ratings on the 001. but im a bit unsure about how the system will work.
Will it give me 16 inputs and 16 outputs connected together and is the 001 locked to the Pro Tools software or can I use it with Cubase?
Is it a good system to use for an album production? The plan is to use it with a mackie 1604VLZ mixingdesk
