by the way..
I´m not into Eminem´s music but I believe the guy is pretty cool and 8 mile is a very good movie..
 
wigger is kinda more like a joke I suppose and I never thought of it as a racial type of hate term

I would consider cracker and honky more geared towards racial discrimination

I really can't explain the existing phenomena where black people can call white people crackers and honkies freely but the use of the word my pals is such a bad thing... what should and should not be allowed? I don't know... there are no drawn lines for black people, all I know is I wouldn't be able to make a comedy show, being white, like Chappelle and use the word my pals (ps I love Chappelle and his show and hope the 3rd season gets rolling soon! the 2nd season dvd set is hilarious)

even though I guess 'my pals' is a hate term whereas honky came from comedy (The Jeffersons right?)

dunno what you'd say about cracker

nonetheless I'm not offended by any of them

by the way, I'm white and I'm not racist in the least
 
Whigger isn't a politically incorrect term because Whiggers aren't a race or people at all.

Political correctness is a total farse anyway, I hate it. If I'm going to insult someone then I usually pick out a feature that differentiates (sp??) them from me.

e.g. if someone is fatter than me: 'You fat cunt'. <<<< This is acceptable.

BUT

If someone is blacker than me: 'You black cunt'. <<<< This will have me branded as 'a racist'.

It's also funny (by funny I mean totally gay) that the only people who can, in reality, be branded as ...-ist (racist, ageist, sexist) are 18 - 49 year old english speaking white males.
 
this is Funny, Cause I was over at Billy's Board questioning the use of the term "Jawa" for a Middle Eastern person. I mean, they are not Jawa's they are people like you and I. Giving the term Whigger or Jawa to anyone robs them of their true Identity. Your Pants are Falling Down, Could you find them Any Bigger! :)
 
I've always strayed away from the word "wigger" because I always took it as standing for "white my pals"... or at least that's what most people intend when they say it. Don't be so ignorant.
 
Sadly I think there will always be hated towards other races. The best thing I could do is not teach it to my kids. We all share the same joys and struggles. And "We all bleed Red!".
 
the problem i have is that white people can be racist to black people, but black people can call white people names and not be racist...so it is still not equal.

It doesn't matter if you teach it to your kids or not; they'll pick up on the fact that people are intolerant of ethnically different people simply by going to school or seeing certain movies.

I so agree. I'm not racist at all, the majority of people that I hate are white just like me. But I hear black freinds of mine just going off about white people, and they aren't ashamed of doing it right in front of me. It's like common knowledge to them. Whatever. I judge people by who they are and not what they are. I'm a cracker and I guess I hate native Americans, right? O.K. Whatever, I love everyone and if hating the people who are going to break into my car while I sleep is wrong, then I'm majorly wrong. Because the people who are doing that shit are both white, black, and every other race. This is what humans do, so therefore I hate all humans. FUCK HUMANS, praise metal. Metal fans aren't into stealing stereos and robbing cars, we're all about love for brotherhood and music. And each other. That's why I post here a lot, we're like a family. I love all you posters, and I don't care what race you are. We're a family, white, black, or other, you're family to me. Praise Anthrax and everything they've done!
 
Elementary school is a hot bed for racism and cruelty in general, it's a damn shame what some folks teach their kids. I first heard Wigger from my Little brother, My Mother Laughed and I just thought it was stupid, maybe because I was Listnin to Run DMC at the time! :)
 
when i heard the term 'wigga', it was meant as a put down by white people towards other white people that were trying to act like the 'rapper' click which was 98% black. but i agree that the black on white rascism is just as stupid. i don't like the term 'my pals', and the only time i use it is when quoting someone. but one of my black coworkers calls me 'honky' or 'cracker' on occasion. i've had black people give me dirty looks because i shave my head and have tattoos. michael jordan does it and it's ok. i shave my head 'cuz i'm going bald and i'm a nazi?!?!?! the double standard is silly.
