We haven't heard about anyone commenting on the Minneapolis show??? WTF

Oh, and isn't if fucked up that my girlfriend is gonna be in Spain when Anthrax's tour hits Spain???? I keep telling her to go for me to represent me, D.C. or America, but she's not having it. Fuck I wish I could see Anthrax in Europe. I have a feeling that Anthrax love to play there more than most parts of the U.S.

I knew I should've jumped in my car Saturday morning and made the 7 hour trek up. (Of course, stopping by the Leinie's brewery on my way!) Granted, my car probably would've crapped out at hour 5...

I was planning to go to this, then I had to put $2400 worth of work into my pickup, plus I'd have to take 3 days off work so that kinda killed it.

I drove five hours up to the cities from SD to catch the show and it was well worth the drive. Friday's half of the show was sorta boring, but I did get to meet Sevendust and Damageplan.

Saturday was cold and rainy in the morning but the rain at least moved out in time for the show. Since it was a festival type setting, Anthrax was limited to an hour set. I really enjoyed it and was glad to hear N.F.L. in the set list. There are way too many songs that I would have liked to hear to be played in one hour. Some of the notable missing songs were Among the Living, Indians, Belly of the Beast, and Inside Out. I felt they could have left out Antisocial (was never a real big fan of this song).

The best part of the night though was after their set when anyone who purchased Among the Living or Music of Mass Destruction at the Sam Goody tent were escorted backstage to meet the band. We were given a poster for MMD and the guys signed it for us. I had my picture taken with John and Charlie, but it ended up being really blurry. I would have loved to had my pic taken with Scott, but the security was being rude about it and were trying to move people through the line as fast as they could. Oh well, either way I got to meet the one band that I idolized when I was in high school and have two very jealous friends because of it.

If your interested, I have pics of the show at http://photos.yahoo.com/sdswami
Enjoy!

Right about Ibiza, was there once, gayer than Mr.Slave!
I´m seeing Thrax twice in Europe! First in Czech and the next week I´m heading for WACKEN!!!!!

You suck! I wanna go to Wacken. I actually looked into going this year, but airline tickets were way out of the price range I needed to be able to afford them. Maybe next year.
