How do listen to cds with Digidesign interface? ¯\(°_o)/¯

Still not able to get a level on the stock soundcard so the Y cable coming out of the computer isn't going to work either :zombie:

forget the digi stuff for a second, even if you hook up some computer speakers to the onboard soundcard, and you play a regular mp3, nothing comes out?
 
i ended up just using my pod xt as my sound card. I just hooked up the pod via usb into my computer, then ran speaker cables from the left and right pod outputs into my aux inputs on the 003 rack. Then hit the Aux in button, and works like a charm:)

There are a few settings you have to change in your control panel to get everything to run into your pod, but it's pretty self explanitory.
Might be worth the investment since they are only like $150 used on ebay. Plus go listen to Joey Sturgis recordings....all pod xt haha
