how do these pedals compare?

Hi Guys,

looking at the price on a TS-9, OD820, maxon TS909, SD-1 etc.

how do they compare?

I have a 5150 MK1 and the SD-1 comes in the cheapest... Big difference in sound?

who else uses an SD-1 for a pre gain stage?

I've got ZW, SD-1, OD820, and DS and the best for me, is the OD820

erm.... I work in a shop... thats why i'm asking!

we dont have maxon in our country. I've tried the TS9, TS808 and the SD1, and i like the SD1 so far the most... i'm thinking of doing a mod to it.

can u post samples of the difference of them... through the clean channel, and then through the distortion channel.

I'd recommend a sd-1 with a mod. You can get best of both worlds.
