How do you adjust the volume level of pickups?

all i know is that the metal sliders need adjusting!

Well, this is some obvious advice that you probably already know, you can just raise them higher up to the string... on the brackets there should be six screws... ones in the corners securing it and 2 in the middle that go down on to the back of the pickup, screw them anti clockwise and the pick up will come up closer to the string.

There's other ways in the electronics, but i'm a bit tarded with all that.
