Well, since mine weights 26 kg, it's a big painful for me to carry it with hands, i bought some "trolley" (don't know how to call it), looking similar to that:

But this way i'm capable to "drive" the head only when it's staying on its side (the smallest plane surface), I tightened it with 2 fastening belts to keep it steady, but i wonder, is such position of the tube amp head not harming the tubes or electronics or the head itself?

Can you tell me if i'm doing that right?

Yeah, it's no problem just as long as you make sure the power tubes don't pop out (happened to my 5150 combo once, cuz the tubes hang down, and I didn't realize for like a year!! Fortunately, though, no damage was done to the amp, but that one tube was pretty cooked)

Go to the gym, that's the easiest way ... :)

Seriously, when I weighed 170lbs everything was much heavier. I couldn't carry a 4x12 cab and my tube head was pretty heavy. Now I am 220lbs. and all the extra muscle really makes this shit easy. I can't really imagine having problems carrying amps anymore.

ya...seriously is the head really too heavy to just carry? I have never seen anyone have problems carrying a tube head...and I have seen some skinny guitar players. I carry my 4x12 cabs up and down 3 flights of stairs on a regular basis.

I use the things that stick out of my upper body.....

But seriously you can buy a soft head case that is similar to one of those rolley wheeled backpacks, I know a kid who has one for his jcm and it's pretty coool.

fair play! i just never really actually thought about how much they weigh, i mean, they're heavy but i just pick em up and get on with it myself :P haha.

those are very nice, but won't fit some larger amps (like my cobra...no generic roadcase was large enough to fit it)
