How does this mix sound?

My band just re-recorded an old song, and I was wondering how the mix sounded?

Not to bad, just a thought. The drum fill in the beginning sounds more like someone tripping over the drums rather than a cool intro fill.

I'll give some more pointers as I listen through the whole song.

drums sound good, +1 to the intro roll. I think the guitars are a bit scratchy. They have a kind of guitar vst plugin/pod sound. What have you used?

They are POD.

I do not have access to a decent sounding room, or a half-way decent AMP at the moment, so POD will have to do for now. Haha.


What do you think about the vocals?
Do you think they sit nicely?


Or what?

Also, do the guitars have a "heavy" sound to them?
I want to make the guitars as mean as possible.

^^^ they sit well man, the guitars sound heavy definitely and I think it has a lot to do with the bass so a good job for sure.
