Sounds like the whole mix is a little too squashed though.

Well….where to begin? DW kit in a completely untreated room. If I remember correctly OH’s were in XY, although im not completely sure, this was tracked quite some time ago. Beta 52 on the kick and 57’s on everything else other than overheads. Which was a cheap pair of some EV condenser mics. Guitars were a les Paul with EMG’s through a dual rectifier and a Solano cab. All tracked into Sonar 3 (yeah ages ago) and recently remixed in Sonar 6. Thanks for checking it out
