How is the Death metal scene nowdays??

Exept for the frency on In Flames and so forth, How is THe Death metal scene in Asia today? I know Thailand have loads of fans of Good dm.....

Well I live in Malaysia ...I don't think the death metal scene is really good here...ppl fucking hate it ..oh well ...but I like carcass

Death metal seems to have a relatively good start in Pakistan, India and Jordan. It's well established in Israel and Japan. South East Asia seems to, for the most part, prefer the grind type of sound but there's death metal stuff there, too.

Where can we learn more about these and other regional death metal scenes?

i'm Indonesian. and the DM scene here is quite good. some big names around here to check out to get the impression of Indonesian taste of death metal: siksa kubur, dead vertical, jasad, noxa , and death vomit. cheers!
