I was setting up ahead of a guitar tracking session tomorrow and was checking head/cab combinations etc.
This is the best sound I have ever got from my triple recto and I will be using this sound for tracking tomorrow.
I ran the Lasse Mago DI tracks through it to listen at home later.

I always struggle with the recto fizz so I placed a 57 first then went in with headphones and moved a 421 with reverse polarity until I zoned in on the 4-5k recto fizz. Flipped channel back to normal polarity and it sounded great.
What do you think? Have I dulled out the presence too much?

I think you've dulled out the presence a little too much. It sounds good, but doesn't have very much of an edge.

I think you could use less gain on the amp too. When micing, focus on the mids. Find them.
Also use the recto manual to see the sweetspots of the knobs.
Don't be afraid to turn the level on the TS all the way up if using sow little gain.
