How is this song sounding production wise?

It sounds pretty bad dude. It really needs a good mastering to bring up the volume, but that's not really the issue here. Honestly, I'd ditch it and start over. The cymbals are a washy mess. Guitars are thin and sound very mono. The kick and snare get lost a lot in the mix. The toms are barely audible "clicks" and the sub lows are really muddy.

Ok well ive redone it slightly
.Snare cuts throug better
.toms have been brought up
.addictive drums automatically compresses OH's and hi hats (which is annoying) so i turned those off
. and added little glitch effects towards the end

chances are theres still alot to change but I'll be honest that I haven't got the most 'matured' hearing yet which is why i come to you guys

if addictive drums sucks why you use it? Seriously, save some money and buy superior 2.0 or even Ezdrummer. Have you thought that you could have no conditions to record the amp at home? The room ambience it´s not good and maybe your amp doesnt helps too. Try amp sims and impulses, when you become really good with that, try micing again the amp at home.

It doesn't suck, I'd say my skills let it down more than AD does I've tried both EZ drummer and AD and i can definitely say i prefer AD never tried Superior 2.0 though. As for cabs/impulses I dont have a problem with them but personally if im going to get good at something i might aswell try and get good at micing things up since that's what im mainly going to be doing for most things eventually.
