How long til my beer is done fermenting?

I am seriously losing my posting abilities.

Rather than let this post slip into the void of reply-less threads, I will continue to top it just to make my inability known.

I seriously am concerned about the fermentation though.

I think it's because i started it at too high a temp and didn't get it down to the correct 65-75 degree range soon enough.

Right now it's around 75, but I think maybe I need to either shake the stupid thing up and restart the yeast or pitch some more yeast.

Maybe if I make up a yeast starter and throw it in it'll fix it back up.

But then it'd be at risk of contamination, which is BADD.

Well, that's not entirely true. They just reallocated another 21 positions last week- from letting people go to moving people around to other positions.

i shook the carboy a bit (well, swirled it) and it bubbled for a while, but not sure it'll keep doing so. probably not. is it supposed to bubble like the whole 2-3 weeks?
