How many listens did it take you to like Crimson 2?

The first couple of tracks really caught me at first and then it seemed to drag on, and a lot of the songs felt almost like fillers. After 1 or 2 more listens though, I started to appreciate all the different parts of the album and now I absolutely love it. Great work.

I'll need to pick up Crimson 1...I've only heard it like twice...

Comparing Crimson 1 to 2 is like comparing oranges to nectarines... sure, they're both fruits, and they're both sweet, but they have their own subtle differences that set them apart, yet they still belong in the same generic group together.

Crimson 1 was very death metal-y, more EoS than Dan, and Crimson 2 is more melodic.. more Dan than EoS.

I'm not saying you CANT compare the two, just try to be a bit more objective when doing so.
