How many Metal Cds (original or not) do you own (for real!)?

ive got little over 100 cds, i got 5 more coming in the mail, and im only 16!@

I hover somewhere in the 300-400 range for actual "metal" discs.
Let's face it, there's not a lot of stuff worth keeping. Not only in Metal, but in hard rock, blues, ect. CDRS?! Live shows on disc & cassette?! 123! VHS(live)-435(blues, metal, rock, ect.) DVD-41.

My 2003 year resolution is to write down a MS Word or Excel file with all cd-titles of my collection. I expect to begin doing it later this month. It will take forever, but I am sure it will be worth the pain. I have from 80's thrash, death metal, AOR, progressive, power metal, even some black metal. Also from 1997-2001 I had a distro, so there were months when I got 50 different titles. During that period was were my collection grew fast in size. After that, it has been in an slower rate, but due to the fact that I trade a lot (only original cd's) I usually keep in pace with new releases.

I've been doing the exact same thing, and now I have my metal collection (at least) down in a Word file, complete with ratings for those albums I've sat down and actually reviewed.

But if I may suggest, before you go through the trouble of compiling such a list, you may want to check out something like www.cd-tracker.com. It's pretty cool, and then you can have your lists web-based.

I know bout cd-tracker, I have my trade list there. I had plans to post it there also.
