In other words you feel the size of your CD collection is a status symbol? Compensating for something?

If this is not the case, why bother bringing it up? After all it was completely unprecidented.. As long as everyone is happy with the number of CDs they have, what does it matter how many that is?

Beseech= 1 i have a copy of from a bleeding heart lying around somwhere

Christian Death=1 only theatre of pain

Dark Tranquillity=3, traila of life decayed, the gallery and projector
Death=only 2, scream and human

Green Carnation=a couple of scattered mp3s on my hard drive
Hypocrisy=3, the s/t, abducted and final chapter (taped copy)
In Flames=2 black ash and whoracle
Iron Maiden= only 3 , s/t, number and piece of mind
Katatonia= 10 everying except Elohiem Meth and the single from Viva,

Metallica=5, kill, ride, mop, justice and garage inc
maudlin of the Well=0
Nevermore=3, Politics, Dead and Dreaming
Novembers Doom=all releases
Opeth=all
Orphaned Land=1, the beloved cry

my album collection is probably around 900 if not with all the downloading i've been doing this month (just got a new PC with an awesomely fast connection) i've probably broken the millenial barrier thats including cds, cdrs, promos, mp3s and tapes. I don't have many promos or tapes. I suppose i have too much in that there are a lot of albums i just never listen to but i love music so much it hurts!
