I've never understood the anti-Angela Gossow sentiment, since Johan Liiva was just as bad IMO

Well, Mike has told Guitar World and other publications many times that Gossow does have a say in the music. Like, they'll play her a song and if she likes it, they use it.. if not, they scrap it. "She's the reason for our progression. If something sounds like your standard Arch Enemy, then she'll tell you and we won't use it." So.. make whatever you want out of that statement.
