I was thinking soon after I paid $20 too much for it, that what Velvet Revolver's album is missing is songwriting of any kind

'Madagascar' is a fantastic song, and I hear 'The Blues' is equally good. With 'I.R.S.' and the sample of 'Better', I like the vocal melodies and Axl's form more than the songs. They just sound great.
