how much do you drink on weekdays

in sweden it's basically not socially acceptable to drink alcohol, except on fridays and saturdays when everyone has a license to get their faces totally hammer smashed and be really obnoxious (i really don't like swedish bar culture)

anyway

i kind of like to drink some beers on many weekdays. usually they're low alcohol (2,8% or 3,5% abv) so who cares, right? also: maybe a li'l dram of whisky here and there. how much do YOU drink on a regular weekday/night and is it more than what's considered ~SOCIALLY OKAY~ in your country/community!?

I party hardy on thirsty thursdays and that's about it. If I didn't have to get up at 530 every day and run I probably would drink more

I don't keep a drinking schedule, but I'll have no problem sipping a beer or two on week days if the situation calls for it, of simply if I feel like it...

I don't know about social norms around here. Once in a while we have a beer at work during midday break.

I drink whenever and wherever I want to...usually no more than 1-2 drinks though...and never when I'm on call (or working obviously). I rarely if ever get drunk...I just run out of steam/interest after a couple drinks/shots/glasses.
I have no idea what's socially acceptable. Beer and wine stores are closed on Sundays but various counties throughout the entire country are like that...and some are "dry" - not selling alcohol of any kind ever

Back in just-post-college years I drank 10+ beers every Wednesday. Cheap Pitcher Night! I rarely could see the next day at work, so hungover my eyes wouldn't open. That was stupid. That was fun.

Currently not drinking on weekdays, although sometimes on Thursday nights, up to 4 if I'm especially thirsty. I honestly don't think it's ever not accepted to drink in the US, unless some religious thing is involved, but I've never been a part of such nonsense, so I wouldn't know.

Socially acceptable in my circles: drunk all day, drunk all night. At the same time, my town does not sell hard liquor, it is illegal. And you can't smoke outside, wtf? I like it here, fuck smoking.

I typically drink one glass of red wine per night but have been slacking lately. I used to get a good buzz on if I wasn't working the next day but that hasn't been for a while.

It's more healthy to drink in moderation than it is to abstain tbh.

I'm trying to do that moderation thing currently, last week at a gig only had 2 beers which is right where I should be. I had that shit down for a year or two but then got too thirsty again. Whoops.

It's better to burn out than fade away. Or die a slow, miserable death once my liver finally shuts down.

My favorite are my 3 day benders in which I. Do. Not. Slow. Down. And usually start downing cabezas before 8am. It used to be that I got rip-roarin' hung over and swore off drinking for a few days. Nowadays, if I don't have to work the next day, that does not happen. I just keep going.

This is why it's important to have a steady woman in my life, methinks. Because when I don't, I fall into a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol and bad food.

Not really. I have never been a depressive drunk, or even an angry one. Yeah, I embarrass myself in front of them on occasion when I'm wasted, but I generally enjoy life when I'm on the sauce. Though my swag goes on INFINITY. To the point where it ruins my chances, at times. I simply do not give a fuck.

I am drinking CHEAP ASS SHIT right now (E+J) and enjoying the hell out of it.

I usually have just one beer per night on weekdays. Though for the past few months, I sometimes skip a day for various reasons (calories, cost, etc).

And it's completely acceptable to get shitfaced here very night of the week.
